EARTHQUAKE! Why art thou come?

Strong earthquake close to the Negros coast (Philippines)

The epicenter of this earthquake is located in the gulf and rather close (a few km) to the coastline. Only 26 km to Cauayan.
Seismological agencies are reporting various Magnitudes, but the strongest value comes from Phivolcs, Philippines who is reporting a Magnitude of 5.8 at a depth of 10 km which can be considered as moderately dangerous.
Philvolcs Philippines expects damage but taking into account the various values we have seen, we think that it will be a narrow escape and damage maybe max. minor.
Aftershocks can be expected.
NO tsunami danger at this Magnitude.
Update 06:25 UTC : We think that the depth of 10 km reported by Phivolcs is too shallow as this earthquake was felt in a very wide area, which happens mostly when the depth is at 30 km or more. Deeper, means at the same time less dangerous. Let us hope that we are right.

EARTHQUAKE! Why art thou come? 

All over my facebook homepage is all about earthquake. Why? Man! Earlier there was an earthquake while I was in our computer room doing the speed test in our Autocad. It was about 1:10 PM. Until now I feel so dizzy. It's like my whole world is still moving back and forth. I have this weird feeling, yes, of course I am scared but still laughing because we went downstairs and stayed in the "safe area" of our school. But  for sure if there is still an earthquake with higher magnitude, it wont be safe also coz it is surrounded by tall trees.  This is the second time I experienced the earthquake at school, but last time was worse one. I feel like it was the end of the world. But good thing is, the first one I remember is God. I guess all these calamities are just one of the signs that God is coming back SOON.
